Nikkon Live View problem? Pls advise..

Hi Guys,

Seek ur advise, as i alway go for night photo taking with some of my frens (who is using Canon). Question is that when we both Nikon & Canon use Live view to see the sreen b4 we take photo. For Canon live view, i can see very clearly the buliding the river but as for Nikon is almost all dark where i can see nothing at all b4 i can take any pic. Is it normal for Nikon or i have to do some setting in the body?

I am using D5100 & D7000, both also cannot see. :sweat::sweat:

are u using manual mode?
try changing your shutter sppeed

or metering. or f-stop. or any combination of settings which causes exposure to darken

Change your 0 EV value to positive...
