Try spotmetering on the highlights to cast the foreground in shadow as there's not much point of focus there that's interesting, but backlit, at least the shapes may look interesting. If i saw this scene, i'd probably step further ahead, and shoot the reflection on the floor as the main point of interest with the building as the background. Good try nonetheless.
