Newbies Outing (part 11) - June 26 Saturday, Helix Bridge Sunrise

Hi guys,

Thanks for coming and sry could'nt account for everyone. Hope me and my fellow "seniors" did provide some form of assistance to you, and help u in resolving/answering any of ur issues/questions which u have with sunrise/cityscape photography.

Today lighting is rather dull and flat (with no sun in sight~!).. Nonetheless, its was a good get together (esp the equipment poisoning session at McDonalds after the shoot).

Not much shots to share as most of the time was busy answering qs and met up with old pals, mostly candids.. haa..

P.s. *DD123/Wildcat, dun flame me hor, i obtained "ur green light" from ur before i post these.. lol.. *

Here's my humble attempt...

There were temporary platforms in the extreme foreground, meant for YOG ceremony participants to get onto the stage, I reckon. Had to crop those away.
Also felt that it was better to exclude some of the buildings that form part of the CBD skyline around the One Raffles Quay area...

Picture looks soft. Maybe due to your downsizing process that reduces the quality, or the image host (clubsnap galleries) or your settings.
Kindly post EXIF?

Also I think it may be better not to frame with the railings of the platform as your foreground... looks like you're trying to portray emptiness.
