It's a "707" which does not require you to use the relatively more expensive memory sticks and the Sony proprietary flash. ;p

Does look very promising, even has a RAW mode.

yeah ... promising
8X optical at that size  I like
higher shutter speed @ 1/4000
but why f2.8, even f707 could have f2.0 :(

I have played with it... very impressive...

selling 129,800 Yen in Tokyo....

I zoomed 8x then use macro mode... it appears very sharp.

The width is exactly the same with nikon 5000... just has bigger lens.

I use canon G2... i must admit this one surpassed Canon G2 quality.

is that the recommended retail price or the market price? ~$1800!!!

Heard it's released in Hong Kong also.

What is the thread size? In singapore yet?

mpenza, that's the recommended price i think.. because i saw everywhere selling the same.

The offer you 15% points.. means if you buy the camera $1800 you get $180 in your point... next time when you buy stuff from theere again you get 15% off....

hmm.. I might be wrong.. but that's what my japanese collegueas told me.

It just released few days ago.
