Need Help

Hi guys, wan to check with you for SONY DSC-P10 camera, if i never put in the memory card will the screen still show anything? or it will still be able to zoom and test the camera with out the memory card.

yup, you can do so.

but the no memory stick icon will be flashing all the time.

can try to press the review button and see the last shot. (i think)

so testing is still possible without MS.

definately no prob with zoom and setting all other functions.

Cause i drop me friend's camera in to a puddle of water then immediately dry it.. then after cannot turn on. but after awhile, i went to recharge the batt then can turn on but my friend took back the membory card.

Now i turn on (For taking shot) is only a black screen with " no memory card" flashing there but cannot see any image that i'm focusing on... Can see any thing or zoom althought the zoomicon turn up and move when i press the zoom.

So does it mean that the camera is spoil?

enuff for the p10 to go for a swim?

hrmm~ best way is still get a ms to try.
my previous post is not written in specific for p10.
my own v3 is operable w/o ms.
