well, one way i can think of is to use the pen tool to trace the path of the rainbow (less any stuff blocking it like the boat's main mast). make selection and feather if you wish to soften the edges.
make a hue/saturation layer to adjust the saturation and if necessary, edit the layer mask directly for more detailed tweaking.
i feel it's quite tough to adjust the rainbow globally as there's quite a bit of saturated colours already present - boat's red hull and the yellow roof.
Yes, i also had a major problem. As we know, the clouds are grey, hence the grey cast on the photos. If i adjust it globally, the whole picture just doesnt look right.. but i got an idea liaoz.. thanks
the rainbow is an artificial one made in photoshop right ?
you can create the rainbow on another layer or something of that sort and adjust the saturation separately ?
