hi, I am looking for a sb 600 diffuser that can give natural-looking flash for portraits. Budget is < 30$. Anyone can recommend which type should i use? And where to buy cheap? Is dome type or normal rectangle one good? Which one better?

Also need recommendation for reflector that can be attached to flash body. I hav seen black & white card type.

What difference reflector and diffuser can make? And which one to be used in what situation? I'm very new to flash. thz

i am using SB600 too.

So far i only slot in a name card (white) as my bounce card. The effect not very good, but still better than direct flash.

u can try getting the stofen omni-bounce (~$30)as diffuser and couple with a Jusbounce card (~$18) as reflector.

I've tried the following...
- Stofen Omnibounce
- Lambency version of Lightsphere
- Flip-it Pro

I would suggest you either use Lightsphere (the cheaper Lambency version would do) or the Flip-it Pro. It gives more natural and even lighting.

You can have a DIY Flip-it Pro... check out the following...
