National Cadet Corps Day Parade 2005

NCC day parade 104yrs Aniversary. (17 or 24th July 2005)

Event will be held traditionally at SAFTI MI.

Event will start in the afternoon. and seats are on a first come first serve basis, after which u will either have to stand at the back of the seats or u may use your tripods and position them along the front. I dunno if can or cannot.

I will be either in the Contingent or the flag bearer.. i dunno yet. still haven confirm. maybe the escort.. also hard to say. But i invite pple who want to shoot to be here to witness this annual event.

Fireworks, Full parade, NCC Precision Drill Squad, Red Lions Parachute Display are all the main events of the day.

Followed by a award presentation ceremony, dinner.

All come yah...

No news yet. 2molo is the meeting with Commandant and District Commanders.

I believe the top Gold units in SG will represent the GOH, while the remaining ones will be Supporting Contingent.

there will be:

1X GOH Land (rep. Army)
1X GOH Sea Air (rep. Navy RSAF)
1X GOH (unknown yet)
1X Colours
1X Bearers ( NCC, state flag and one more flag bearer)

Supporting contingents from Air Land Sea Units.

Entrance is free. No invitation cards required however, you guys can only view the parade only. I dunno if theres going to be any makan provided for u all. There will be a gallery i think. hahaha.. nt too sure too.

But !!! If theres a pre-parade reheasals. i will post all the infos here... so u guys can see hw the actual parade will be like. there will be 7 pre-parades if i am correct.

yah... first come first serve.. but please dun come so early la...

Ok, something more recent. this is another NCC Event, but i will maybe give out invitations for observing the parade, and u can shoot by sitting there.

National Cadet Corps Cadet Lieutenant's Course (49th Intake) Passing out Ceremony.

Event will be held in Amoy Quee Camp, HQ NCC, Upper Parade Square, 22nd June 2005. Timing will be confirmed again.

Event will be like any other Passing out parades.

2 - 3X GOHs (Air/Sea and Land)

3X Supporting Contingent from Central Specialist Course

Guest of honor: Unconfirmed

Makan will be included. will be held in the late afternoon-evening.

On Invitation only. More details to be released. i will prolly have 2 invitations to give away, however not confirmed, but to tell u all tats all.

No fancy Pyrotechnics, juz a pure simple elegent parade.

no lah, it's called Temasek Green uniform. But during my time, the Part C and D cadets already change to camouflage no. 4

NCC Day Parade will be held on 17th July 2005 @ SAFTI MI.

please come before 6.

well..come and get ur best spots. u are also NOT ALLOWED to walk into the parade square or anything.

well.. u guys can come as parents or guests.

this year, i believe there will be the Red Lions, followed by a Mass Display and Fireworks as usual.

when i was serving Central for NDP PDS, theres onli 3SG Mingzhe and a few others... and that was the nice old days...

now no more MTT liao.. now SAF instructors grp themselves under Training Cadre. hahahaha

oh.. i noticed that theres A LOT OF pple taking pics... i believe some teacher officers own Canon 10Ds and 20Ds, and some Nikonians around. I know all of them are Land Teacher officers.. so haha.. come come post them yah...
