#2 is stunning! You manage to capture a metamorphosis happening. :bigeyes:

Thanks, but I was too late for this. It was already in that position when i saw it. I've seen another grasshopper in transition from beginning till it came out. that was amazing!

Zheng,

All very nice shots. Well taken. Thanks for sharing with us.

Have always wanted to see the process of it leaving the 'shell' so to speak, now managed to see it from your shot number 2. Great capture :thumbsup:

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks leect and princej. Glad you enjoyed them. :)

These are very nice macro shots. I especially liked 7.

I personally did not have any luck in locating insects in Mount Faber before though.

Nice series...

Very nice series! Colors, lighting and exposure for #2 is simply amazing for the moment.

Awesome Pics Zh3ng ! This is the 1st time i'm seeing the Cicada emerge from the shell.....normally only see the shell only. Good timing !

AWESOME pics:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Very nice series indeed :)

Thanks thtan21, cichlid, orionmystery, Novjoe, Valjen, exorzist, glenn, lichtleiter and Numnum~.

Its my first time seeing a cicada actually. I guess i'm lucky to see both the cicada and it's molting at the same time! A pity I didnt have time to wait for it to complete its process.
