quite an interesting viewpoint... seriously worth arguing about... hehe...

She ask me to shoot for some events at her temple, so i say, if i have time then i go, and also must see mood, besides that, i am not into any religion, i am free thinker as of now...

Then she said 1 thing... which sparkle a thought... cos i was showing her my super rotator, then she say, Dun waste your equipment & skills, you should help us shoot lor... (note should) dun waste your talent...

so i wonder... should i or should i not... hehe...

i mean, if you got the skills, u got the time, should u shoot or should u not... i mean, i'm not earning a living for this, i got plenty of stuff, but underutilised, and instead of just lazing around, then let my equipment rot, should i go shoot for charity or something?

Its your time and your talent do what you want with it? If you want to help out a charity then thats great, im sure they will really appreciate it (if there looking for a photographer of course!)

For me,
I free (wu eng) than I shoot, no advance booking, just for important event only, not full coverage, they rest of the things, any other people can shoot.

cos I make clear to them most of my weekends is tan chiak day, this one no charge, so please don't ask for too much.

frankly speaking, I do shoot for charity. But sometimes the hours are too long and you have other commitments else where.

And seriously speaking, I felt taken for granted towards some pt. So even with the talent, the equipment and the time, you will not feel wanna to go at all

If you have the time and energy, it is more worthwhile to mix around and feel the human warmth around you. Learning how to socialise and enjoying the time spent being a part of other people's lives are definitely more important than just taking a few snapshots. Don't be the fool to do the dirty work for free. Instead, make use of the opportunity to get to know more friends, enjoy a conversation, laughing and joking more are actually more beneficial to physical and mental health than stressing over taking a good picture.
