Is there a procedure how to adjust the mointor settings to printer (vice versa) so that what u see is what's been printed out?

I'm using Epson 1270 & Compaq Qvision210.

Thank You!

There's a monitor calibration tutorial there.
Once you've calibrated your monitor, it's fairly simple to calibrate your printer. Might take some trial and error.

Hi Zoom,

Let me know if you have successfully adjusted the color in the monitor so you can make the printout as same as in the monitor.

So far I understand that this procedure is almost imposible. ;)

Cheers

if you maintain an sRGB -> sRGB workflow, you have a pretty good chance of getting a satisfactory match of monitor to printout.

thanks to a profile for my printer i downloaded (see an earlier thread), i get pretty close (good enuf for amateur like myself) matches now even when going the AdobeRGB route..
