Once I got an SMS from a model an hour before shoot.

I hazard a guess that almost the whole of CS is aware of the ghastly non-professionalism of these subjects.
What would be really helpful are names. Then CSers would benefit by knowing who has a tendency to flake.
This is all connected to the unscrupulous and inconsiderate practises that members get away scott free with in the classifieds as long as they are not exposed.

Do you think it will help or maybe would it be possible to start a poll and put up a list of the "models" that are currently on "Services Offered" and see what is that feed back like ?
At least that would give a rough indication of how many photog had bad experience with these "models" ...
Hmm ... not sure if that would spark intense outrage by the Band of Protectors ...
Maybe better to state as and when it happens with particular mollers ...

1) any feedback system is bound to have both positive and negative ... and it is for the peopple reading the feedback to make the informed decision after reading it. there should not be any worries of the Band of Protectors ... if you had flaked on a photog then you have done it ... if it was without a good reason, then it is non-professional and other photog should know about it ... if your Band of Protectors are so "hardcore" about it, then they will be the model's regular clients and other photogs will move on to other models.
2) when it happens ... reading from post #1 onwards ... it already seems that it has been happening to you a number of times ... and there are other photogs who have the same experience ... i am sure ... so is there a need to wait for the next time it happens ?
I have organised a few shoot of my own and I have been lucky ... I do not participate too much in group shoots ... but the ones I have been to, the models have shown up for their assignments ... :thumbsup:

Actually rather than having a separate list, I think it is very very beneficial to post directly on the Model's thread in the Services Offered section. Then people reviewing the ad can actually get actual reviews. Also, I think that the mods should refrain from closing the Model's thread when such reviews are posted (as is the norm nowadays), because what that means is that the thread (and review) will get buried and the Model can then start a new thread and people reading the new thread will therefore be uninformed.

We can always link back to the model's thread on our own, but we need the mod's blessing not to close it down as a result. Perhaps we should also disallow models from having more than one thread....
