Methods of Archieving your Digital Files

Went to PK Computer at Funan and the 200GB HD are out of stock. They have the 300GB HD and package it together with the SAROTECH for about $450.

Will try SLS later.

Is Maxtor HD good? Should I get Western Digital or Maxtor?
How about the 300GB. Stable or not?

I am avoiding Maxtor. Gave me problems and not value for money. The higher spec Seagate barracuda drives are better and I do find them more reliable.

i never had a maxtor crash on me before though. perhaps its luck too

actually all these hdd take turns to have problems. years ago seagate sucked. then western digital sucked and the way to go was ibm/maxtor. then ibm deathstar came around. then maxtor started to suck though i have not encoutered (touch wood), and now the way to go seems to be wd and seagate.
