Taken at midday with clear sky... model is very tanned so really struggled to balance the exposure... and failed miserably

In situation like this it would be helpful or more reliable because the LCD is no help
to use the histogram for review and exposure compensation.Only the last frame is acceptable
while the rest are overexposed to some degree.

you need some HSS or something... or shoot in shade. anyway the model has very nice abs although I think other parts of her is not OEM

Well she's from a race that is "gifted" when it comes to those "parts". So cant blame other some races to think "not original" if not used to seeing it.

Anyway, i should have waited for afternoon sun to take the shoots, or brought along extra flashes to combat the midday sun.

A big reflector will also suffice.
