this is a good illustration of how fantastic a camera LX3 is in the right hands

thanks artspraken, this really is a very good camera.
50% of my photostream is shot with LX3.
completely new here, and thought i should share some stuff with you all.

anurag

Black and white pictures is set in-camera or photoshopped?

first two, yes...to increase the contrast, and the second one d'ging/b'rning a little
rest, no ps

Nicely done pictures

Care to share the settings you used to capture the various pictures?

nice shots. how did you get so close to your subjects since the lX3 does not have a good zoom?

hi
no particular settings.
sometimes manual, at other times when there's no time, on program.
i tend to shoot all images with contrast, saturation, nr and sharpness all down all the way (-2), which i later adjust.

anurag

hi inotion and socrates,
thanks for liking.
i was pretty close...the ones you're talking about probably were shot with subject's permission.
i hardly use the zoom for most part, most of my LX3 stuff is shot at 24...though the first image (its not cropped at all) is fully zoomed, in his face and probably
the macro focus on.
do visit my flickr page:
