LX-2 or Ixus 850IS ???

Hi all, will be getting a new digicam this IT show. narrowed down my choices to these 2 for the raw formet for the LX-2 and the better noise level for the 850IS. whihc would you guys recommend ? TIA.

I haven't used the 850IS so I can't comment on that. But if RAW is the only feature you wanted on the LX-2, then you can conssider the 850IS. Things I like about the LX2 is the Leica lens, manual controls and the vibrant colours. Things I don't like, high ISO artifacts, poor low light performance.

well, if you like grainy pictures, this is the camera for u.

put it this way, get the LX-2 if you like ur pictures grainy.

if you don't mind the noise, get the LX-2.. has an interesting 16:9 aspect ratio, plus much more manual control..
