I've developed about 3 rolls of lucky shd and i'm still struggling to find the best development time and dilution to bring out more contrast. I'm using HC110 tried with 1:100 12 mins and 1:31 4 mins. Both turned out quite flat. Any suggestions?

use less water ( not so diluted ) or extend your dev time or agitate more vigourously
or combination of all 3

thats the print right ?
must see negative to give more constructive advice : )

Exposure plays a key role too. U might want to look into this as well.
Burn another few rolls and try to write everything on a notebook or paper.

Try other developer like D-76, Rodinal, Diafine and etc...
I am using HC-110 too. Just order some Rodinal to try..
I seen some Flickr pictures on Lucky with Rodinal! Very nice combo.
I haven't try it yet so i cant tell you much.

Will update again..

Good luck and have fun..

thanks for all the replies. the pic is actually a scan, not a print..

I just might try Rodinal, where can i get it? Ruby?

You might want to try putting a yellow filter on your lens when you shoot outdoors.

Alternatively, do some post processing, like adjusting the levels to recover the flatness. It could be due to the scanning part.
