Looking for travel photographers ....

We all have noticed that there are some members who are informally categorised, such as those same old faces at event shoots, model-specialists, birds, nature, etc....
Well, i am trying to have an informal group of travel photographers, preferably those above 21 and working. Probably we can share information, costs, transports, hotels, etc... Of course, we are not thinking of those budget travelling but some decent 3 / 4-star hotel type, 2 / 3-nite type, etc.. This is just an informal grouping ....

Dun mind we organised small group and go overseas for shooting ... on a regualar basis like Quarterly of half yearly .. :lovegrin:

We are thinking more of is an informal group where money should be the least problem. :think: The main problem with this group is probably no time to go due to work, business, family, etc...
Each trip will probably have only about 2 or 4 or max 8 members and each person will have to look after themselves, the main purpose is only serious photography when there is light and fun when it is dark (not neccessary among themselves ... :nono: )
Stay in good hotel but shoot in offbeat places (dumping ground, hill, padi fields, etc) .... Sorry no sight-seeing, shopping but probably spa, (and of course durian hunting) etc. :sweat:

I would suggest 4-8 members ... buddy system so we can take care and look after each other equipment. For travels photog ... normally best photo are/were taken before dawn .. :think: and we have to wakeup early to catch the morning sight/sunrise etc etc ..

Since you started this .. You be the leader and plan mah .. :thumbsup:

Buddy system yes ... permanent leader no la .... every trip, the one who is more familiar or have some local contacts can always organise with the help of the local people. For me, maybe Jakarta, Bali, Surabaya, Brunei.
Looking for people who have local contacts in Manilla, Myanmar, Yangoon, etc.... :heart:
