Looking for compact photo printer

Hi all,

i'm looking for a compact photo printer....normal usage just to print photo from my dslr...

i know canon is selling a few models..is canon a good brand? is their ink pricey?

or anyone can recommend me other better brands?

i am looking for compact..only print photo....HP got those printer which print photo only?I only found photosmart....

the most popular ones, i guess, are from canon selphy series.

if you want to count photo/ink cartridge, compact photo printers are definitely pricey regardless of brands. AFAIK, canon sells their reload cartridge and paper together in one packet. if you foresee yourself printing in bulk, either you get a dedicated photo printer, or send it to a reliable shop.

I have never heard of a brand that does not sell "expensive" ink.

HP photsmart series do have the portable ones where it prints photos only. $399 or $499 something like that pricing

i have a canon selphy: cartridge and paper costs ~30 cents per print.
