Your question is kinda vague.
For starters, what kind of objects are you talking about? Moving? Still? Large? Small?
What do you want to achieve? Magnification?
Prosumer with 10 times zoom should be able to do it. Price maybe $500++ to $800.
any camera with any lenses can capture any objects at 50 meters away.
just like you can use your naked eyes to see an objects at 50 meters away..
so how big is your object? and how much magnification you want?
Whats your budget?
Say.. 70-200 on a 450D? or a 55-250?
where can i get that? nva hear of Prosumer brand b4

2 & 3) Big enough to be able to see the licence plate numberYour thread title simply says: "Looking for cameras to capture objects that's 50 metres away"
If you want relevant advice, please specify at least the following:
1) Budget [you mentioned <$1000]
2) How big is the object that you want to capture? A hotel building? An aeroplane? A car? A person? A bird?
3) How big do you want the object to be? Fill the whole image? Half? A quarter?
4) Can this camera be fitted to a tripod? Or must it be handheld?
5) Any other specific requirements...
2 & 3) Big enough to be able to see the licence plate number
4) Handheld should be sufficient
5)Nope
