As per the thread title, does anyone know of any bag that can hold 1DX + 500mm F4 & 1DX + 70-200 f2.8 together for trekking purposes?
Some considerations:
- I would be doing some trekking and some climbing for around 5-10km, with these gears which totals abt 10kg. So the bag hopefully is as light as possible.
- Camera padding is secondary - main objective is still lightweight (hopefully <1kg) first, then padding second.
- Better still if the material is waterproof/has rain cover - as the trekking area would be snowing. (yea, imagine the 4,5 layers of clothings which i will be wearing top and bottoms, lightweight is the #1 priority.)
- There's no need for the bag to hold tripod/monopod. I would be using the monopod in my hands as walking stick.
- I m not looking for rolling cases, as that wont allow me to climb up rocky hills.
- Pelican cases is definitely out of the question - too heavy and cumbersome for me to climb.
- The bag must be long enough to hold 1DX + 500mm attached, as I wont be changing lens in snow.
- The lowepro lens case for 500mm/600mm is out of the question - as it is too bulky and heavy and it's unnecessarily longer than the lens + attached 1DX. Besides, I also have problem putting another 1DX + attached 70-200 f2.8 in it.
- Those giant lowepro computrekker is great but it has problem fitting the 1Dx + 500mm attached. and worst of all, it is super heavy.
Thanks in advance if u have any great carrying bag idea
