Just wanna use this thread to let off some steam.... !!!
Share a ridiculous experience with CSers and hopefully this sort of thing doesnt happen to you.
I PMed a chap (Whom I shall not state for his sake) on CS last weekend on having an available SB600 for sale. He PMed me back and said that he is ok with the price and asked how to deal. Anyways, one thing or another, we did not have an opportunity to meet and today, I thought I should squeeze in some time to make a meeting since it's been several days already.
Since it was last minute, the person on PM could not meet up so he sent a fren instead, which is understandable. However, on meeting up, this 2nd chap started asking questions on the SB600 and commented that it did not have some wired connector or something. Hello ? Why didn't you or your fren even bothered to get this clarified BEFORE you asked to meet up ? Anyways, the 2nd guy started to say like "This is a viewing right ?". Duh. At that moment, I realised I had been "HAD".
Anyways, I don't expect to make a sale of an item to people who do not need it. Ain't expecting that, but what does get me peeved was the fact that there are people out THERE who would not be bothered to do some due diligence in checking the specs of an item BEFORE they arrange to have a meetup. Lack of social graces and common decency I'd say and my bad luck in having run into these 2 jokers. They need communication skills, decency and some brains. Not sure in which order though.
The experience cost me precious time and parking fee, and fortunately, nothing more than that apart from some pent up anger..... Haha.... (I am trying to laugh it off....):what:
Well, what goes around comes around. I ain't religious, but there's such a thing as karma. While I wouldn't cuss these guys, I would wish them "good luck" on their project.
Hmmm, just saw the chap asking on CS to buy a second unit of SB600. HELLO !? CHECK out your needs first yah before wasting people's time !
