Do u find your shots brighter when viewed on the DC LCD screen but later appear darker when transferred to comp viewing thru' a CRT monitor?

99% of the digital cameras behave this way. The LCD is way too bright.

Tks CK for your prompt reply. :)

So in a way, never trust the LCD i suppose....cos my shot looks good on LCD but later on appears darker and hv to do the contrast/brightness on the shots taken, Kinda troublesome...:(

Any suggestions or methods u apply to ur shots w/o going thru adjusting?

Also ensure that your monitor is calibrated properly. At the very least, use the Adobe Gamma utility which came with Photoshop to do the adjustments.
