i got a question.... do lcd monitors turn warmer after certain hours of use? eg 500+hrs... cos when compared my monitor desktop to my laptop the desktop is warmer?....
it is the monitor is failing or i just need to calibrate the colours?

Yes, LCDs get warmer too after long periods of use but I don't know how warm it gets as compared to CRTs. The heat given out do not depend on the colours and working condition of the LCD/monitor as far as I know.
