Genting do have some nice scenery if one really do wake up early. Or rather dwell lesser in the casinos through the night. Haha...

I always find Genting is boring in term of landscape/cityscape and nothing much to shoot. Think I must open my eye after seeing ur shots. Great shot!

Me too! Genting bores the heck out of me. But #2 is just so gorgeous, you should just go lite and dump your DSLR to me hahaha.

Maybe perhaps Genting only offers the sunrise for us, nothing else?

Actually there is indeed not much there. But sometimes a walk in the early morning can reap some nice returns. :bsmilie:

Walking down further 800meters downslope, this is wat i see...

Approximately 1.2km from theme park hotel, I found a rock. But seriously, the walk down beside the roads were dangerous with cars speeding past me. It is definitely not recommended to walk in event of heavy fog etc.

great shot !!!will bring my cam and tripod there next time when I visit Unlce Lim to take back my deposit......

on a good day with previous nite raining....will be able to see the 云海aka cloud sea.....there is a good reason why its call 云顶...aka on top of the cloud...but when u wake up and see the rain din stop...better go back to sleep...cos u cant see anything....
simple layman explanation ....when it rain...the air get cold...so we all know that hot air raise ...cold air sink...the pressure between the cloud and land become lessers...so the cloud will sink down.....

actually can save on the tripod there... i brought my travel angel there but never use at all. :bsmilie: could have save more weight if i dump my tripod at home.

departed on fri night, reach sat 5am, walkabout with gf till 6am plus. saw some vibrant colors, then go find some place to soot this. ya was quite lucky as the afternoon till next day all foggy liao...

For the other photos, the sky looks very clear and without any clouds. Was it warm?

Yupz... was really lucky... it was cool there. when sun came up temp around 22 degrees celsius i think....

Noted the repeat bro. just wanna share the colors at different timing and different composition. so was thinking with or without the tower is better... haha...
