Exploring Malaysia - “Malacca – Nyonya Revisited”

* Photo Hunt * Workshops * Photography Competition * Cultural Discovery * Shopping Spree *

16th to 18th April 2010

Second in the series of Exploring Malaysia, the weekend getaway overseas trip to Malaysia shall explore colourful Malacca and revisit the origins of the Nyonya.

Led by photography instructor, this is a trip that is specially designed for amateur photographers using any digital cameras, with “photography” as the official language. This is a structured program where photo hunts are scheduled where the participants shall be given themes to photograph. There will also be workshops conducted by the instructor as well as a photography competition with good prizes.

Instructor Steven Yee shall conduct 2 workshops, “Travel Photography for serious beginners” and “Winning in Photography Competitions”.

In “Travel Photography for serious beginners”, Steven Yee shall share with you the tips in preparing for a travel shoot as well as what to look out for in a travel photography trip. “Winning in Photography Competitions” shall see Steven Yee sharing with the participants on why some pictures deserve to win prizes and he will also comment on what went wrong with those that did not win any prizes and he will also share how some simple touch up to the images can make them very different. This is a good chance to learn how to take better pictures and what are the things to avoid.

Take it as a chance to have more pictures for your portfolio or regard it as a photo holiday, and this is not just a photography trip, but also a discovery trip for your family! Come join us and experience for yourself. Please register latest by 31st March 2010, on first come first served basis. We will try our best to ensure that you have a comfortable and rewarding trip. We shall return with a “load full of images”. For reservations and more information, please contact Siew Lan at 6333 0348 or email to admin@sandvengroup.com
