Please pardon a stupid question...but how do i read or compare the results for this?

Edit..Scrapped the question. I misread the whole thing entirely. Blamed it on a tired mind.

Can I show it to my friends who are waiting for D7000 :p
I think they will come in chest thumping and saber rattling soon enuff... (unless they have an open mind) :)

Though these are nice results and probably speak a lot already, I would still like to see how it all translates to real photos. There is always that accusation that all this is NR in RAW, though that can be an irrelevant point if it produces good NR images that retain detail and have nice noise grain that can be more easily cleaned up by a NR program). Who cares what the hell was done if the images are good :bsmilie:

Those who have a K5 and have seen the samples from IR already know the answer. ;)

Not much diff (if in fact even cheaper) in S'pore ;)
Not to mention the 77 weather seals, Shake Reduction, 5 exp bracketing, HDR
The SR is already worth more than the presumed price difference.

D7000 is $18xx & also it's not available for sales body alone.
Have to buy with the 18-105mm lens bundle @$2299.

Luckily I didn't wait for D7000. :sweatsm:

But frankly the SR in pentax is the least effective compared to the oly & sony body IS system which I used.

anyway, i dun depend alot on it

It's true. SR is a touch and go. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't - yes, the SR has supposedly kicked in for both cases. I think there is some minimal shake for it to work. Too little or too much, it fails. Very tricky.
