hi.. am a beginner too.. =)

personally i think the picture was not exposed long enough.. dun give the festive lights feeling.. did you use a tripod? can try longer shutter..

and i'd prefer the tree to be symmetrical at the centre.. the "slant" looks quite odd.. but that's me la.. =)
