Japan camera stuff

Hi all,

I 'm going Japan soon. Any advice on what are good buys in central Japan? Film cameras cheap? Digital will face challenging interpretation for the menu.

electronics aren't cheap there. they have a lot newer stuff that we dun have but the prices for those we have aren't cheaper there. just came back 2 weeks ago.

Shinjuku and Akihabara has lots of shops selling electronics stuff and cameras I do find some of the items cheap there though....

So what did you buy that was cheaper? What was ex? So i can skip those....

Raynox, Kenko lenses are cheap. I do find the cameras cheaper too when I went. They're like 20% cheaper than Cathay Photo/Alan Photo. Maybe the exchange rate movement has made the stuff more expensive now.
