hi guys,

I just bought a 4GB Kingston CF card from Best Bargain for $48.50

I understand that some CF cards come with a Recovery Software but I can't find it in the card.

If there is, can i copy it out to the PC, like back it up?

Appreciate your replies on where to dig out the Recovery software.

i bought the card, but there is no cd in it, i opened the card in the computer, there is no recovery in it. So is there?:dunno:

i have a recovery software downloaded from the internet. it is called getbackdata for fat. It helps to recover, but not al images.

For ordinary quality it does not come with that, I think you need to buy the ultimate quality one or may be even higher. See the info sheet. If it is stated there and it is missing you can go to kingston office in Singapore at Bencoolen street (same building as OG, but the office tower and not the shopping mall, accross Sim Lim Square). The nice uncle there will copy for you. Or you can email their taiwan office and a nice girl will reply and attach it for you.
Anyway the one that come with Kingston is no good. The one coming with Lexmark is better.
