Is IR a dead thing already?

AllTools in lavender sells a set of bits for quite cheap.
I try to check out the receipt on monday for u guys

Yep, there's were I got my set of 30+ bits for $15 :bigeyes: Had all kinds in there, normal flat, philips, hex, torx... :thumbsup:

It included the T4 that I'm using now. They didn't have anything smaller than the T4 at that time.

BTW Ark, Francis, they are almost ready, just need to calibrate :devil:

Stick to the basics. Photographers who shoot the stars need to squeeze as much details as they can from their equipment, hence the need for extreme mods. All you really need is a piece of optical grade glass (ouch! a tongue twister), which you will find in cheap Tokina, Hoya, etc brand filters.

Don't worry about the thickness of the glass, it is unlikely to affect the focusing all that much.

Another place to try is Kaichin (spelling?) at the top level of Sim Lim Tower.
They sell all sorts of tools and electronic stuff.

Btw, I give up on taking IR with D200.... Took abt 15sec with a Cokin P007 during the "Haze" period and lots of hotspots....
