a K5 would be too costly currently. i would like to make another enquiry if i swap out 18-55 for a DA35 f2.4 would i be better or i would need a 18-55 and a DA35 . looking for the best cheap deal in the long run to minimize unnecessary spending unless necessary

DA35 for me...

but if you really need the 18-55 just try your luck @ the BnS and get it for around $60-90

Thank you all for your feedback. Due to unforeseen circumstances I would delay my purchase of the Kr. Hopefully in the meantime gain more knowledge about this hobby and also hope the K5 would be more affordable for me when I am back from my outstation.

All are welcome to continue using this thread and I would still be following the Pentax news.
