Where is the best place to see cherry blossoms in Japan?
I understand different locations bloom at different times.
Is Kyoto good? When is the best time there? etc
I have abt 3 days only (either last week Mar or 1st week
Apr....)

Kyoto is good, Nagoya also ... Tokyo (Asakusa area)

Its difficult to tell when is the best time cos it varies with the weather/climate change each and every year. Last year's was later than expected for two weeks. Couple of my friends signed up for packages who travel agents who supposed to know the perfect timings thru years of experience were in for BIG disappointment.

Go to kyoto, there would be your best bet as there are a lot of scenic spots there.

They have sakura forecast on the page starting about now. And if you are in Tokyo, Ueno park is the best place to go.... though there will be plenty of people then.
