How to take this type of pics?
As in i want the backgound to be blur and just focus on the object.
Im sorry i am very new.
Right now i am using canon sx40sh.
 

get a lensmate 58mm filter adapter and slap it with raynox dcr250..
u r good to go...

Just do a search online for "how to blur the background in pictures" and you'll get many many examples. If you are only using the SX40, you will have a harder time due to the small sensor, so to help you would need attachments like what uncle intrance mentioned.

In fact, your camera has the potential to shoot even better than the one you posted with its large DOF
 

Smaller sensor actually an advantage in macro due to its deeper DOF.
 

try ----
Aperture Priority - f4 or f2.8
shutter speed @ auto
Macro 'on' (don't zoom)
use 'Spot Metering'
or try - Super Macro len +10

- but i wont go near that spider thou... look scary.... :eek:
