As above, how to shoot candle lights, esp how do u keep the flame in focus and razor sharp? :confused: many thanks in advance.

here is what i got, the flame is not sharp at all

tripod set up. shoot in a enclose room, not even with air con turn on.

agree to above. I using close up filter, turn off the light, mount on tripod. use self timer for more stable shoot.

from your exif, most probably its wrong focus... 1/125s should be good enough unless wind is blowing crazily...

actually off focus also looks nice too, or probably better

maybe you can even add a small figurine as a silhouette or with rim lighting.
 

Should shoot in a dark room, so the image will only show the flame

Here's one more. You can check the EXIF. ISO used is 200. I think PSE5 stripped this information when I resized the image. I used the wick as the focal point.
