How to rename files shot with 2 digital cameras

Hi,

Wondering how can i rename files based on pix shot from 2 cameras, sorted based on shooting time. Scenario is that i use 2 cams to shoot and so the filenames will be different, so i'd like to "join" them and re-label them in sequence based on shooting time.
