how to calibrate screen to match those at the printing shops?

hi,

seems that my laptop show really dull colours compared to the desktop lcd...

the same pic appera totally different....
so a few questions here:

1. how to calibrate monitor/screen ?
2. can i have 2 settings; the regular one as what i have now and another that is calibrated to the same setting as the printing shop ?
then when i editing, i choose the screen that is the same as the printing shop and edit my pictures so that the colours will be correct...
but when i viewing vcd, or just surfing, set it to my current settings....
