How do u remove signs of usage of a lens?

Last time i wish i could rinse it in water for a 2nd hand lens ;p

remove signs of usage, y not try to get extra casing like handphone casings then u put the lens on the new casing... feel like new, smell like new... problem is, where to find the casing..
