Help on B&H

hi. hope this is the right forum to post this question.

i was wondering if lenses bought from B&H are covered by international warranty?

how abt shipping? anyone tried using vPostUSA before to ship stuff from them?

i bought a lens from adorama, shipped by vpostusa.

the nikon lens i bought was covered by international warranty ( not sure about other brands ), but i believe digital lenses are only covered by local warranty ( usa ).

vpostusa will consolidate the items received for your account and ship them once a week. you have to pay gst if the item is above S$400.00.

take into account the exchange rate your credit card company is charging, shipping cost and delay, it might make more sense to buy locally unless the saving is quite substantial.

If you've any specific question regarding a product, drop B&H a email.. the staff there is quite helpful to answer your question.

Consider the price (after FX) + shipping + gst (>= SGD400) before deciding on the purchase. B&H packaging is quite good, so don't have to worry much about it.
