I seldom shoot marco but used to own a raynox.
IMO, if you really are into marco, longterm wise, it's wiser to get a dedicated marco lens. Most marco experts would advice you this way i think =)

I slap it on my 55-300 and it's awesome. Not as awesome as getting a macro lens, but yeah.
