Heading to Rome and Athens

Hi guys and gals,

I'm going to Rome and Athens, would you recommend me to get a 10-22mm (Canon)?

And should I bring a tripod?

Currently using a 40D with 24-105mm.

do it bro... cos u'll really need the wide... no regrets. if it's not a hassle to u, bring along tripod too...

Any recommendations for tripod? Preferably light weight.

u dont need a ultra wide in Rome, buildings are well spaced apart. But you'll need a tripod to shoot at night. The night light there are very very few to save electricity. So, only certain special buildings are lit up the streets are mostly dark.
