it seems that is is possible!

edit: perhaps someone here who has 2 gb card should try...im itching to sell my 1 gb cards and get a 2 gb one... :sweatsm:

Not sure if the FZ cameras can support 4GB cards, especially the ones just recently announced by Panasonic.

Well, got a 2gb Kingston Fast SD card during the IT Show, and since then, I've used it in my FZ5. Works well and doesn't have any problems yet.

My friend bought a Fujifilm S9500 & then went to buy a 4gb CF card. I told him so risky, as he doesn't even know the prosumer can support a not... He said he didn't think of it at first. Later he told me he found out that the maximum the S9500 can support up to a 6gb capacity card.
