Just wondering, whether anyone can so call "print" their own greycards?

Correct me if i'm wrong, but assuming that the grey card is a pantone shade. Then its possible to enter the codes into Macromedia Freehand and just put in the specified codes and print them out using a laser printer for accuracy? :dunno:

won't be accurate. ordinary paper may have an existing colour cast to it already (think why some papers look whiter/bluer/yellower than others), which is not detectable to our eyes, but is detectable to the camera.

I used a Kodak gray card last time, but I have never found the results from setting manual WB to be satisfactory, even in a studio condition. So I just rely on AWB nowadays, and adjust accordingly in RAW.
