FLIGHT OF FANCY Photography Exhibition - Calling for submissions!

Dates: 12 July to 15 September 2013
Venue: Walls of The Colonnade
Number of photos: 40, approx. A1-size
Subject: Flying Wildlife at Gardens by the Bay (Butterflies, Dragonflies, Birds etc etc)

Photo Submission
Deadline: Mon 17 June 2359hrs
Please compile your photos into one folder, zip it up and include your name in the folder name. Please also include your name in the individual images (and the name of the species and where it was taken - if possible) eg. PeterTan_Great Swift_TheMeadow.

Image Specs: JPG/PNG; Not exceeding 5MB per image. We will request the hi-res image from the photographer when short-listed.

Sending options:
1) Email it to ilovegb@gardensbythebay.com.sg
2) Use a file transfer service such as www.wetransfer.com and email to ilovegb@gardensbythebay.com.sg 
3) Share with us your photos on Dropbox (ilovegb@gardensbythebay.com.sg) and drop us a notification note

Received many PMs clarifying this 'competition'

This is NOT a competition ..... Gardens by the Bay wants to showcase selected photographers' works on the Walls of Colonnade which is in a very prominent part of the Gardens. For 2 months, images displayed there will likely be viewed by tens of thousands of visitors visiting the Gardens

I understand that selected images will be printed large sized for good effect and cost is borne by Gardens by the Bay

Credits and acknowledgements will be accorded to successful photographers next to their images

Their message from conversations with them is "This is the people's Gardens ..... rather than just do an exhibition of a single photographer, we would like to showcase works created by visitors "
