Hey bros & sis!,
I've been mucking around this IR forum and finally got around to process some shots i took in Europe. At that time, still very new to IR and did NOT do any Custom white balance or anything like that. All i did was shot in Raw and twiddle in Elements and convert to Black & white as i thought that's the only best looking solution. Can these be considered as "real" IR? I'm using a Cokin P007 on a 50D body with 18-200 lens. I read that the camera body & lens are not the best for IR but since i've took the photos, hope you can comment on them. THanks!

Good objects make a goot picture ;).
What a beautiful Rome!
But because you were using front IR filter and exposure time about 30s, make a people movement (on the bottom of picture 1&2) a bit distracting..but maybe some people like it that way, IMHO.
Keep shooting!
send us more !;)

Very nice B&W IR

blurred people movement adds to the mood... DARK GOTHIC... i like!

Feel like Batman's Gothham City.

Do post more of your shots.

Cheers :)

Thanks Mickey76! ya...i also feel the movement of people may seems a bit distracting cos of the blurred images of them. Boh pian have to use long exposure. Hope to get a converted 2nd hand camera though...
