wonder how long it'll last....

i was eating somewhere nearby last week. wasn't very impressed by the display.

felt that the fireworks lacked variety (perhaps i'm unfairly comparing it to the SFF ones) and it seemed rather short. 2 mins max?

but then again, i couldn't see the whole display from where i sat....

I quote
"..............UOB has granted permission for a Fireworks Display at the Singapore River Promenade, near the Fernando Botero Bird Sculpture. The Fireworks Display, the grand finale of the month-long celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival along the Singapore River, is supported by Singapore Tourism Board.

Bring your families to celebrate the magic of the Mid Autumn Festival - get your lanterns out and soak in the atmosphere of the Mid Autumn Festival - that is happening at Singapore River Promenade on 28 September 2004.

The timing of the fireworks display is from 7.30pm to 9.00pm. Unquote

The timing is questionable ... so long, meh ? Location is the over-fed "TWEETY BIRD" :D

Happy shooting, people !!!!

i think whats gonna happen will be something similiar to this pic:

sinr_img0.jpg

pyrotechnics rather than high-in-the-sky fireworks :D

hihi in that case do you all have any suggestion on where to shoot?

so is firing @ UOB building there?
any idea on good shooting locations?

will be going down later too...

sure will be crowded i guess....

Tourist promotion board says the fireworks are at 9pm opposite UOB.

Ok last min info I checked with the organizer. They are launching from UOB itself :dunno: thats what they said. And yes cultural stuff at 8pm and the fireworks around 9pm.
