Filters?

What sort of filters do you guys use?
I was recommended this Rodenstock MultiCoated HR Digital UV E52 series.
Cost a whopping 52 bucks!

I just checked some of the HOYA ones - they are only $20++??
Is there any difference???

not all the time. I find some b+w lacking... esp the ND110.

Oh another couple of newbie questions:

Are filters interchangeable between lenses?
Will one for a prime lens work for a zoom lens?
