Hi Lim8395,

Thanks for your compliment. Yes, the shots were taken from around 5pm to 9 pm. It was raining when I arrived and cleared later. The first photo was the later shot.

All taken in A/S mode, tripod and PP with slight unsharp mask and curve. Uncropped 100%.

Thank you for your kind comment.

I think everyone with a F 30 should be able to take such photos with a little practice. Tripod is a must for night photography even with other cameras. No lah, DSLR + good lens should beat the F 30 with pic quality. Nevertheless, F 30 is easier to carry and ever ready to shot when nice opportunity appeared.

F 30 is a good P & S camera but has it limitation so it can never take the place of DSLRs. I am sure you already know it. Yes, I am sure your DSLR with good lens should produce some very nice photos. I really look forward to seeing your beautiful pics.

Just happened that the F30 was near him when he decided to yawn... had to take the shot real quick... would have been better if the F30's shutter speed was faster...
