Since we r almost TCSS.. wouldnt 14-600mm F4L IS USM be better... but seriously, EF 16-100+ F2.8L (or F4) IS USM would be nice, i would like versatile zoom range for FF body..

35d after the press release and 2 rounds of firmware updates, when everything has settled down, and lets say u happily walk into TCW, whats the price going to be like? for new and grey? pls estimate thanks

also would like to anticipate that will it also accept the EF-s lenses?? if it does then i will be able to save a lot of $ buy not buying L lense for wide angle

assuming the 35d is true then my eventual line-up will be

01x EOS 35D
01x spare second body (any cheap model either d30 or d60 or 10d or 300d, undecided)
01x EF 70-200mm f2.8 USM L non-IS
01x EF 400mm f5.6 USM L (or EF 100-400mm f4.5-5.6 IS USM L )
01x EF-s 18-55 (or 17-85)
01x Speedlite 430EX

and then when i have more cash the second body will be upgraded to 35D as well :thumbsup:

EOS 5D is too expensive for me... and I would really want to make use of the 17mm end of my 17-40 f4 L lens...

definitely not in the near future especially since they hv created another category in 5D .. price may drop unless NIkon and other competitors introduce full-frames cams too.
