Hi Guys,

I am considering buying am EOS 350D and a Sigma 8mm fisheye to use with it early in Nov., can any give me any advice? I am particularly interested in using this lens for 360 degree panoramas.

What is the price, and where, of the standard 350D, (+18-55mm), and the Sigma fisheye.

Anyone have any opinions on the suitability of the combination.

If you are interested in photography check out my website at, www.peteloud.co.uk/photos/

With the crop factor of the 350D, you're not going to get the full effect of the circular fisheye, which is a real pity.

With the 1.5x crop of the S2pro, it will look something like... http://www.pbase.com/uli1/sigma

It'll be slightly tighter on the 350D. The top and bottom edges will be cropped.

Apart from that, it's not an everyday use lens and there are only a few situations which will work with the fisheye. Imo, not woth the money unless you find one on the cheap.
